Third Trimester: It is hard to believe we are in our last trimester of second grade. Thank you for the encouragement and support you give your child to do her/his best at school. The days will get longer and busier as we approach spring activities. Please help your child perform well by getting enough sleep and eating a healthy breakfast each day. Thank you

Word Work: Our class will be learning about other variant vowel /o/ syllable patterns this week. Our syllable pattern makes the sound as in saw, talk, ball, vault and moth. Students should read their word lists, discuss the meaning of the words, and practice spelling words with similar syllable patterns. Spelling City is ready for students to access the practice list for the week.
